About this game

An atmospheric game about growing into everything. It opens with a dying star that swells, explodes and collapses into you: a black hole smaller than a pebble, drifting through a field of rock and ice. Move close to anything smaller than you and it slowly spirals in, stretching and glowing as it falls.

Grow through seven eras: dust and stone, moons, worlds, ringed giants, stars, nebulae and finally whole galaxies, until you become a supermassive black hole at the heart of everything.

Three ways to play: - Drift: the calm original. No way to lose, no timer, and your journey is saved. Drift at your own pace, and keep drifting after the ending. - Gravity Run: you aren't alone any more. Blue holes are prey: chase them down for big points. Red holes are bigger than you and will hunt you. In later eras, Super Extreme Massive titans bend your path with their gravity: skim their edge to slingshot, but never fall in. Burst away when you need to, and you get one rescue per run. Chain meals into combos, survive near misses, reach eras fast, then get a grade from D to S and chase your personal best. - Daily Singularity: a Gravity Run with the same seed for everyone and a new twist each day, like Hunters' Moon, Titan Season or Feast.

What to look for: - Rotating planets, moons and stars rendered in real time, with atmospheres, rings and night sides lit by your accretion disc - Gravitational lensing around every hole: space bends behind it and a photon ring glows at the edge - A calm narrator at each new era, a soft ambient soundtrack and gentle sounds for every meal

Controls: move with the mouse, a finger or the arrow keys/WASD. In Gravity Run, burst with Space, right-click or the Burst button on a phone. H hides the interface for screenshots, M toggles music, V the narrator, F full screen, Esc pauses.

Feedback I'd love: does Gravity Run feel fair (can you see danger coming)? Which grade did you get? And how does the pacing feel between eras?

What's new in 1.2.1

Stardust gets rivals: other worlds race you for the same disc. Absorb smaller rivals (blue rings) with a gentle touch, dodge bigger ones (red rings) that charge and knock pieces off you. Rival stars compete for gas and the heavier star siphons gas off the lighter one. Live rank in the disc, plus your fastest supernova as a personal best.
