About this game

Settlers build a home in an unforgiving land, and every day is a contest for time and labor. Find or grow food, build shelter and wells, treat injuries, haul supplies, and prepare for weather and outside threats.

What you do: - Build storage, shelter, beds, fires, wells, workshops, farms and defenses. - Set work priorities for hauling, construction, farming, crafting, hunting and medical care. - Craft food, clothing, tools, weapons, medicine and furniture. - Survive hunger, sleep, warmth, health, morale, fire, combat and wildlife, and tame companion animals. - Research improvements, investigate landmarks and send expeditions across the frontier.

Latest update: capture raiders and win them over until they ask to join your colony. Traders and caravans visit to share news and trade goods. Storms, droughts, heat waves and cold snaps affect every harvest. Hover over any object to see what it needs.

Arid Frontiers is a Windows game on Steam (demo available; Early Access planned for Q1 2027). Feedback on balance, usability and which systems you want deeper is very welcome.
